- What is the usage period?

The usage period for AdPower is two years after installation. After two years, please replace it with a new product.
This timeframe is due to the fact that AdPower is affixed using double-sided tape, and the safety of the attachment can only be guaranteed for two years.

Additionally, the effectiveness of the product may gradually diminish due to ageing. Many users replace their AdPower after two years and notice a renewed impact.
By the way, the product allows you to note the installation date on its surface, so feel free to make use of this feature.

If you need to store AdPower in an unused state, please keep it in a cool, dark place, with a shelf life of approximately two years.

- Is there anything I need to be mindful of during installation?

Before applying the product, ensure that the area of installation is thoroughly cleaned with a wet wipe or similar item, and allowed to dry completely before proceeding. The double-sided tape used is a high-specification Japanese-made adhesive. Once applied, it becomes fixed and cannot be repositioned, so please be cautious.

The recommended installation point is on top of the air cleaner box near the airflow sensor on the side of the air duct that connects to the engine, or directly onto the air duct itself.
If you are installing more than one unit, please place them slightly apart from each other. 

- Will installing more than the required number of units improve performance?

Generally, installing more than the recommended number does not result in a significant increase in performance, but it can help reduce static charge.
This may lead to a smoother driving experience, with differences depending on the vehicle model, as some drivers report improved throttle response.

The recommended number of units is based on the most effective amount for your vehicle. There are no adverse effects from installing more than the necessary number.
However, if fewer than the required number is installed, you may not experience the intended benefits.

Before purchasing, please check the required number of units for your specific vehicle. This information is available on the "Check required pieces" page of our official website, where you can search by manufacturer and vehicle model.

- Can I remove and reuse the product after installation?

We do not recommend reapplying the product once it has been removed. Reattaching it will reduce the adhesive strength of the double-sided tape. Additionally, removing the product can cause creases or otherwise affect the material.

Recently, we had the pleasure of meeting Kenji Kanehisa, a former F3 racer who is now active with v.Granz in Japan. We installed AdPower on his vehicle and let him experience its effects firsthand! We would like to share with you what happened during this encounter.

AdPower joins the race at the 2024 Suzuka Clubman Race Round 2!

The 2024 Suzuka Clubman Race Round 2 took place on May 11th and 12th. Mr. Kanehisa  of v.Granz (ONELAPCOAT Assist Seishun Oyaji 16C) competed and impressively secured 3rd place. Congratulations! And what’s more, Mr. Kanehisa's racing car was equipped with AdPower!

Mr. Kanehisa has had a successful career in Formula 3 (F3) and is now competing primarily with v.Granz. He was the F5 champion in 2001 and the champion of this class in 2020, achieving another strong result this time as well. Round 3 will take place on June 15th and 16th, and we look forward to his continued success in the upcoming races.

*Formula 3 is a category of automobile racing defined by the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile) as a four-wheel open-wheel formula car race.

Hello, are you able to transfer the load with the image of drawing a circle?

This time, it is an advanced version.
Let's try to draw a bigger circle outside of the basic smooth circular load transfer.

Well, it's the commonly called "drifting".
There are many ways to say "drifting".
It depends on the performance of the car, the setting, the way of making the triggers, the drive system, etc... but that aside, the normal load transfer is an image of drawing a circle, however the drifting is a load transfer that adds a parabola to the basic circular movement. 

The size of this parabola depends on how it drifts.

"side brake"
"engine power"
"brakes"
"inertia"and "feint"

There are various triggers for drifting, but if the load transfer is not smooth, the car will spin.

"Centripetal force" and "centrifugal force" generated by moving the steering wheel to "inertia" of the driving force of the car, and "center of gravity".

With these in mind, we have to control the grip of the "front wheels" and "rear wheels" to make a parabolic drifting.
